What a journey it has been!

So proud of my singers for performing in this recital.
They got such a supportive and warm audience and I can't wait to hear what they work on next!

One of the most meaningful parts of my work over the years has been watching students grow into teachers themselves. Seeing them carry their own voice, perspective, and artistry into work with the next generation of singers is incredibly rewarding.

One teacher came to me with years of experience already working with voices. She had exercises that worked well for her personally, but she wanted a deeper understanding of why certain tools worked for some singers and not for others, and how to teach with greater precision and flexibility.

Through our work together, including case studies and a CVT workshop I taught, those pieces began to connect. That curiosity eventually led her to commit to the three-year teacher training program in Denmark. Today, she is a certified CVT teacher herself, and it’s been a joy to watch her step fully into that role with clarity, confidence, and an ever-growing toolbox.

I’ve also had the privilege of working with a young band leader who came to me wanting to find his footing as a rock frontman. Together, we built the technical foundation that allowed him to access power and rough vocal effects like distortion while keeping his voice healthy and sustainable.

At the time, I never imagined he would become a teacher himself. But after years of dedicated study, he enrolled in the teacher certification program at the Complete Vocal Institute. Today, he’s building an international career, teaching workshops, masterclasses, and private lessons across multiple continents. Watching that evolution has been both surprising and deeply rewarding.
