Gooooal! FIFA World Cup now has citywide food and drink specials. From June 11 to July 19, restaurants across all 5 boroughs are serving special $26 dishes celebrating the cultures represented in the tournament. Think: Little Senegal, Little Brazil, and beyond...

Last Thursday, we concluded our Spring 2026 session and, as is our tradition, gathered around our chalkboard to reflect on the words left behind by each chef at the close of their class. Every evening, we ask our chefs to leave us with something meaningful — a thought, a lesson, or a reflection inspired by food, hospitality, and life. Over the years, these handwritten sentiments have become a cherished part of De Gustibus, capturing the spirit and passion that fill our kitchen night after night.
As we looked back on this season’s collection of quotes, a few in particular truly resonated with us. Here are some highlights.
