New workshop coming up! Get as freaked out as you want to with EMF (electromagnetic fields). We'll be building a device that converts these invisible signals into audio, while learning some basics about electronics and radiation. No experience necessary. Link in bio 👻📡⚡📻🎃

What is EMF?
EMF stands for Electromagnetic Field. It is an invisible signal produced by electrically charged objects. These fields are present in our environment and are created by natural sources like the Earth's magnetic field, as well as by human-made sources such as electronic devices, power lines, and wireless communications.

Do ghosts have EMF?
There is no real way to scientifically prove this, but according to paranormal theories, changes or spikes in EMF readings are thought to indicate the presence of a ghost or other supernatural entity. Ghost hunters often use EMF meters to detect unusual electromagnetic fluctuations in supposedly haunted locations.

and .space presents the Synth Cafe Workshop hosted at ! Come thru and get a crash course on modular and traditional synthesizers. Learn how to make blips, bloops, and The Stranger Things theme song!

From Noon-3pm, we’ll have some modular synths by and a few other synths out for open play at the communal table. If your curious, stuck on concepts, or just want to play some synths… swing by! Also, feel free to bring your own!

Creative Electronics Workshops - no prior experience necessary — stem modular A four session workshop held in Brooklyn that will cover the basics of working with electronics including how to read a schematic, identify components, prototype an idea, troubleshoot and stay safe while doing it.
