5:00 PM: Mix & Mingle on the rooftop—enjoy the stunning views and meet fellow sustainability enthusiasts.
6:00 PM: Head to the Auditorium for an engaging panel discussion on the role of sustainability in interior design. Our expert panelists, Maria Lomanto, Phoebe Beachner, Israel Crespo, and Joe Ginsberg, will debunk myths and share insights on practicing sustainable design.
This is a fantastic opportunity for new students who signed up at orientation to engage actively with the NYSID community and NYSID ASID!

As designers, it’s important to have a variety of materials to chose from when working on a project. But instead of letting old samples end up in landfills, we want to give them a second life.
Tomorrow and Wednesday we will be hosting our Material Swap, where students can trade samples that can be used for any upcoming projects or designs.
