I am called Rich Stapleton, I'm the Student Development Coordinator at Walden University in the School of Counseling. I served as President of the American Counseling Association of Iowa from July 2019–2020. I also serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Child and Adolescent Counselors.
I own a small private practice in Iowa City, Iowa. Throughout my career, I worked with adolescents and adults. I also worked in a rural mental health clinic in Southeast Iowa as part of the National Health Service Corps, where I worked with adults with disabilities and provided mental health services in schools. I served as the Behavioral Health Team Lead for ChildServe, an organization that provides an array of services for children with severe medical issues. I'm a generalist, however, I have a passion for helping other mental health and medical professionals who are experiencing vicarious trauma and impostor syndrome especially those finding difficulties in passing their board exam.
I'm an advocate for payment parity for telemental health services, which is an essential tool to bring quality mental health services to people living in rural and remote areas. I'm also an advocate to expand Medicare coverage for professional counseling.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and a Board Certified-TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) provider.
As a member of the NBCC board, I'm committed to helping Counselors overcome challenges in obtaining certification. If you're struggling with the certification process, I'd be happy to provide guidance and resources.
I'll be able to provide you with exam questions and answers for your exam date. That's your exact questions and answers for your exam. What I provide is exactly what you'll see in your exam.
Also, for those who have exam anxiety, I'll be able to get them certified without them having to go in for the board exam.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly, and I'll do my best to support you in your journey towards becoming a certified counselor
