This Spring, the Black & Latinx Studies Department, Baruch Black Male Initiative, and Office of Student Life hosted a panel discussion on Advocacy Communication, Grassroots Organizing, & Civic Engagement. 🏛️💬

The panel included SEEK alumni . Jibreel is running for New York State Assembly for District 59.

"I’m the son of a union nurse and a taxi driver who immigrated to New York in search of the American Dream — and I’m running to take on the cost-of-living crisis that’s kept that dream out of reach for working families."
