Family Education Services Foundation North America (FESF NA) was founded by Richard and Heidi Geary in 1984.
The Deaf Reach Program was founded by Richard and Heidi Geary in 1984 while living in the Philippines. As parents of a deaf child, they discovered that programs for the Deaf, particularly in developing countries, were very limited in scope. On this International Women's Day, let's celebrate the incredible achievements of women in education. From teachers and professors to researchers and administrators, women have been at the forefront of the pursuit of knowledge and learning for centuries. Today, we recognize the women who have broken down barriers and shattered stereotypes, and who have paved the way for generations of women to come. We honor the many women who have fought for equal access to education, and who have inspired countless others to follow in their footsteps.
