A Statement of Our Work to the World
212 MOVEMENT: A Scientific Art Exhibition by ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang
Opening on July 4, 2026, at the 798 International Art Zone, Beijing

We thank 212 Off-Roader for its recognition of and support for the PNSO team. We are honored to announce that PNSO has entered into a strategic partnership with 212 Off-Roader. From July 4 to August 31, 2026, at the Art Bridge Gallery in the 798 International Art Zone, Beijing, we will proudly present the 212 MOVEMENT: A Scientific Art Exhibition by ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang. Through this event, PNSO will introduce our work and its progress to all sectors of society.

The 212 Off-Roader is a legend of China's automotive industry. In the more than 60 years since its debut, the 212 has raced across the mountains and rivers, served every facet of society, and created a rare cultural marvel. Today, with a brand-new image, 212 has unveiled a fully upgraded product and established its global sales network in more than 80 countries—a great moment worth celebrating, anticipating, and recording.

Since co-founding PNSO on June 1st, 2010, Mr. ZHAO Chuang and Ms. YANG Yang have adhered to the working principle of “a small team, big projects, and continuity,” carrying out the PNSO Scientific Art Projects Plan: Stories on Earth (2010-2070) as originally envisioned, while keeping engaged with the outside world through the narrowest window. Now, just as the 212 Off-Roader launches its 212 MOVEMENT World Exploration Initiative, PNSO has been selected as its very first project. We are beyond grateful to the curator, Mr. LU Yunran, and his team for their encouragement.

According to the curator LU Yunran, this exhibition features the current progress of the PNSO Scientific Art Projects Plan: Stories on Earth (2010-2070), with a focus on presenting the work of ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang, including selected pieces they have completed. We believe this fresh perspective will spark more interesting discussions and offer visitors a unique experience.

As the first art project of the 212 MOVEMENT World Exploration Initiative, 212 MOVEMENT: A Scientific Art Exhibition by ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang is grounded in the curatorial vision of “Movement creates the world; the world embraces all things; all things rest in your heart.” It also advocates the concept: Let wonder be everywhere; let exploration know no end. 212, sing the world, praise the movement. Through questioning, answering, revealing, evidence, and storytelling, the exhibition seeks to discover wonder and exhibit creation.

We look forward to meeting you at the exhibition. Thank you for your attention to and support for this project!

Glyptodontopelta:
Armored Warrior from North America

Glyptodontopelta is an ankylosaurian dinosaur found in North America. Despite the limited fossils—mainly some plates—these provided enough evidence to establish it as a new, valid genus. Subsequently, scientists identified another ankylosaurian, Edmontonia australis, based on these fossils. While it was initially classified under the genus Edmontonia, it is now recognized as a synonym of Glyptodontopelta.

A Crest-less Hadrosaurid

Kritosaurus was part of the Saurolophinae subfamily within Hadrosauridae, meaning it had a flat, crestless head. Hadrosaurids are generally divided into two subfamilies: Saurolophinae and Lambeosaurinae. Most saurolophines did not have crests, although some possessed small, solid crests, whereas lambeosaurines are known for their highly diversified hollow crests.

Pachycephalosaurus:
The Largest Pachycephalosaur

Pachycephalosaurus was the largest pachycephalosaur, with a bulging head dome that appeared larger than those of other members of its group. This dome was relatively fragile and not built to withstand direct ramming from attackers. However, its head was encircled by small k***s and spines that seemed to be effective weapons against predators.

Q: Was Pachycephalosaurus a quadrupedal dinosaur?
