We are so proud of our students and alumni for an incredible run of Kids Dance performances at The Joyce Theater last weekend. They brought joyful energy and artistry to every performance. Thank you to the faculty, staff, production, and wardrobe teams who made this year's show possible, and thank you to everyone who joined us in the audience. Special thanks to George Lykogiannis for composing and performing such a beautiful piece of music for the students to dance to.

In celebration of Pride Month, two incredible artists from the Tony award-winning musical CATS: The Jellicle Ball—Emma Sofia and Bryce Farris—will be teaching choreography workshops to our middle school students. CATS: The Jellicle Ball was awarded three Tony Awards this past weekend: Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Costume Design of a Musical!
Emma Sofia (she/her) performs the roles of Cassandra and Skimbleshanks in CATS. She is a proud Latina who started as a concert dancer. She was an original Broadway cast member in Finding Neverland as Wendy, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Veruca Salt. TV credits include “Fosse/Verdon,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Call Your
Mother,” and "Sheriff Country,” among others.
Bryce Farris (he/him) is a Dance Captain and Swing in CATS, where he made his Broadway debut. His off-Broadway credits include Saturday Church (NYTW) and CATS: The Jellicle Ball (PAC NYC). His commercial highlights include Janet Jackson’s Together Again Tour and Coming 2 America. A Pace University graduate, Bryce thanks his parents, friends, village, and The Artistic House of Telfar for their support.
