Today, our 8th Grade Sharks enjoyed a day at Six Flags, making memories with friends and celebrating the final weeks of their middle school journey. 🎢

Today, Rafael Hernández School had the honor of welcoming Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy, along with Fernando Fiorentino and Crystal Hercules, to celebrate an extraordinary accomplishment.

Our Sharks earned the distinction of being ranked #1 IN THE NATION in the Fourth Annual Khanathalon! During the visit, our top seven students-who each mastered more than 95 skills in just 45 days-were recognized for their outstanding dedication and achievement. We were also proud to showcase our third-grade students who demonstrated the highest levels of course mastery and growth in the building.

This recognition reflects the hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence displayed by our students, staff, and families every day. Congratulations, Sharks! Your determination continues to make waves! 🌊🦈📚🏆
