k, the Honors College has for decades offered a supportive community to a diverse cohort of well-prepared freshman and transfer students from the city and region who are enrolled in each of the schools at Rutgers University – Newark; we also welcome applications from mid-career Rutgers students. Under new leadership and with extensive faculty and stakeholder input, we are excited to be launching a bold new curriculum that will be interdisciplinary, collaborative, and focused on critical thinking and project-based community engagement. With faculty, peer, and alumni mentoring, Honors College students will graduate steeped in academic excellence and practical learning, prepared to answer the challenges of the 21st century and to be active members of our alumni community.
