His passion for our mission and unwavering support help create an evening that inspires generosity and changes lives.
Volunteers and community leaders like Bart remind us that it takes more than a great cause, it takes great people who are willing to champion it.
Thank you, Bart, for lending your voice to our mission and helping us open the door to literacy for thousands of children. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Literacy Project family.

📚✨ Testimonial Tuesday✨📚
There is nothing quite like seeing the pride and confidence on a child’s face when they discover they can read—and even more importantly, that they love to read.
On May 18, we celebrated another incredible graduation at Bennion Elementary School in Utah. These young readers worked hard, built new skills, and reached an important milestone on their literacy journey. Their smiles say it all!
At The Literacy Project, we believe reading opens doors to opportunity, confidence, and lifelong learning. Every child deserves the chance to experience the joy that comes from turning the pages of a book and getting lost in a story.
Congratulations to our graduates, their families, teachers, and volunteers who helped make this achievement possible. Your dedication is changing lives—one reader at a time.
❤️ Together, we’re not just teaching children how to read. We’re helping them discover a love of reading that can last a lifetime.

🍎 Thankful Thursday Spotlight 🍎
Today, we are especially grateful for the incredible partnership of the Promontory Point Foundation and their unwavering commitment to helping children become confident, lifelong readers.
Because of supporters like Promontory Point Foundation, we are able to bridge the literacy gap, place books in the hands of students, and inspire a love of reading that extends far beyond the classroom. Every smile, every certificate earned, and every young reader discovering the joy of a great book is a testament to the impact of their generosity.
Together, we’re not just teaching children how to read, we’re helping them discover the power, confidence, and opportunities that literacy creates.
Thank you, Promontory Point Foundation, for investing in our students, our schools, and our future. Your partnership is helping create happier readers and brighter futures, one child at a time. ❤️📚 Promontory Club

✨ Testimony Tuesday ✨

This week, we are proud to spotlight one of our incredible committee members, Amy Cardiff, for speaking on behalf of The Literacy Project during our recent committee meeting alongside fellow committee members and supporters of our mission. 💙📚

The video also highlights special moments from our most recent graduation at Bishop Manor in Santa Ana, a celebration of growth, perseverance, and the life-changing impact literacy can have on families and students.

One story that especially touched our hearts was hearing from a former student in the KidWorks after-school program, one of our valued community collaborators. Through the support of programs like KidWorks and The Literacy Project, this remarkable student has now graduated high school and has officially been accepted to USC! 🎓❤️💛

We were also honored to have Lisa, Director of Development at KidWorks, present and photographed during this meaningful event as we continue working together to create brighter futures for students and families in our community.

Stories like these remind us why our mission matters. Literacy changes lives — and these students are proof of what’s possible when a community comes together to support education, opportunity and hope.
