Bucks County Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing Program was recently recognized by the Independence Blue Cross Foundation for positively impacting health through nursing leadership and innovation.

Alex Aduboahen, program director, accepted the honor during the foundation’s “The Power of Nurses™” 2026 National Nurses Month Brunch on May 27.

The IBX Foundation has supported nursing students at Bucks for the past 15 years through scholarships. These scholarships provide financial assistance and relief, enabling our students to prioritize their nursing studies and join the health care profession to meet their career goals and the demand for nurses in our community.

Congratulations to the ADN program and thank you to the IBX Foundation for supporting our nursing programs!
