✨ Student Spotlight: Jamie Hollis ✨

We're celebrating Jamie Hollis, Licensed Professional Counselor, mother of two, animal lover, and creator of The Whole Space in Maitland, Florida.

Jamie's work is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: meaningful change starts from within. Through coaching, breathwork, and her background as a Licensed Professional Counselor, she helps individuals navigate life transitions, recover from stress and burnout, strengthen self-trust, and create lasting change that feels aligned with who they truly are.

As a graduate of The One Breath Method™ Certification, Jamie beautifully integrates breathwork with therapeutic principles, helping clients cultivate greater awareness of both their emotional experiences and the mind-body connection. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply respectful of the whole person.

Through The Whole Space, Jamie offers both in-person and virtual coaching and breathwork experiences, creating a supportive environment where people can release old patterns, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

💜 Jamie is supporting people in creating space for healing, growth, and lasting transformation.

We are honored to celebrate Jamie and the meaningful impact she is creating in her community and beyond.

I spent years learning everything I could about trauma, the nervous system, and healing.

I could explain polyvagal theory in my sleep. I understood the window of tolerance. I knew what dysregulation looked like.

And I was still walking around dysregulated, carrying everyone else's energy home with me, and wondering why nothing I knew was actually working in my own body.

The answer wasn't more information.

It was that I'd never been given a way to take what I knew in my mind and actually land it in my body.

That's what Introspective Breathwork® Therapy does.

It's not a relaxation tool. It's not a coping mechanism. It's a direct pathway to the intelligence your body has been holding — and waiting for you to finally access.

The One Breath Method™ was built for the healers who know too much and feel too little of what they know.

With love, Deborah

The healers I most want to work with aren't the ones who chose this profession as a career path.

They're the ones who were called.

The ones who've always been the person others lean on. Who found a way to make meaning out of their own pain by helping others move through theirs.

These are the most gifted people in the room. And they are often the least well resourced when it comes to their own inner life.

Because somewhere in the training, the message was — focus on the client. And so they did. Beautifully. Tirelessly.

But at some point, that level of giving without replenishment isn't sustainability. It's depletion dressed up as devotion.

If you recognise yourself here, I'm not here to tell you to care less. I'm here to offer you something better: a way to care that doesn't cost you yourself.

That's what this work is. Come explore it with us. 🤍

A student recently shared something that stopped me mid-breath.

"I realised I'd spent three years helping my clients feel safe — and I had no idea what safety felt like in my own body."

Three years. Credentialed, skilled, genuinely caring — and completely disconnected from her own inner experience.

This is not a rare story. We hear versions of it constantly inside this community. Practitioners who are brilliant at holding space for others and have never once been taught to hold it for themselves.

The shift isn't about learning more. It's about becoming someone whose body is actually safe enough to hold space — not just trained to simulate it.

That's what we build inside The One Breath Method™.

💬 Comment TRAINING below and I'll send you a behind-the-scenes look at what this journey actually looks like. 🔮

What we hear again and again from the practitioners who find us is some version of this:

"I had all the knowledge. I just couldn't feel it in my own body."
They arrive with years of education, genuine care, and real clinical skill. Credentialed, experienced, deeply committed to the people they serve.

And underneath all of that — a quiet, persistent ache. A sense that something essential is still out of reach. That the work they're offering others hasn't fully landed inside of themselves.

What our students discover inside The One Breath Method™ is that this isn't a gap in knowledge. It's a gap between knowing and embodying.

You can understand nervous system regulation and still come home wired every night. You can understand the theory of presence and still feel like you're performing it in every session.

The shift they describe isn't about adding more. It's about finally integrating what's already there — dropping it from the mind into the body, where it can actually live and move and translate into genuine, sustainable presence.

Not more knowledge. A different way of being.

💬 If something in you is ready for that shift — comment TRAINING and we'll send you a behind-the-scenes look at our certification program.

I've done a lot of breathwork.

And I'll be honest — some of it scared me. Some of it felt like it blew me open without any way back to myself.

That's not what we built.

Introspective Breathwork® Therapy was designed with one non-negotiable at its core: the participant leads, not the facilitator.

The breath creates access. The body does the work. The facilitator holds the field.

That's it.

No pushing. No forcing. No "getting somewhere." Just a deepening trust in what's already inside you — because it always has been.

If you've experienced breathwork that felt unsafe, overwhelming, or like you were being dragged somewhere against your will — that wasn't your nervous system failing.

That was a modality that wasn't designed for depth.

This one is.

Most of the healers I work with are some of the most informed people I've ever met.

They've read the books, completed the trainings, sat with hundreds of people in their most vulnerable moments.

And they are exhausted.

Not because they're doing it wrong. But because no one ever taught them how to hold space without holding the weight. How to be genuinely present without absorbing what isn't theirs. How to move from knowing about emotional regulation to living it from the inside out.

There's a name for what you're experiencing. It's an embodiment gap — and it's the single most common thing I see in healers who are intelligent, committed, and quietly running on empty.

You don't need another credential.

You need a practice that teaches you to become what you already know.

That's exactly what we built the One Breath Method™ to do.

If this landed somewhere true for you, I'd love to hear about it in the comments. 🤍
