When people know they have wronged you, they avoid you. Some people would rather disappear than apologize. Distance is easier than accountability.

Sometimes we expect too much of people because we wouldn’t think twice about doing that much
for them.

Don't go above and beyond for people anymore. Meet them as far as they meet you. Speak to them as much as they speak to you. Include them as much as they include you.
