Construction on the church at St. Bernadette Catholic School is officially complete! Archbishop McGovern celebrated Mass and consecrated the new altar. The St. Bernadette community also buried a relic of St. Bernadette during the Mass, which was then sealed by a masonry on the altar. Stop by for Mass sometime to see the beauty up close. We know the students will love the enhanced experience for years to come during their time with Jesus.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
In 2026, the Feast of the Sacred Heart on June 12 coincides with a historic national consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The U.S. bishops will lead a consecration today as part of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,

When we started visiting area parishes in January, we had no idea the generous response we'd receive. In the last five months, Executive Director Shannan Brommer has been welcomed by priests and parishioners to share the message and mission of the Consortium in various ways.
We are always happy to share our story with those outside of South Omaha, and we're even more thankful to report that the following parishes came together to raise just under $60,000 toward Consortium students and staff.
