Today, Clarkson College pauses for a day of recognition, restoration, and celebration. Our campus is closed in observance of Juneteenth.

For the first time since 2014, the U. S. Navy is celebrating Navy Week in Omaha. More than 90 Sailors are here to engage in a week-long series of performances, educational events and service projects in celebration of the Navy and Nation’s 250th anniversary.

Clarkson College was happy to host Rear Admiral Sandberg and Captain O’Sullivan along with their colleagues from the U.S. Navy Surgeon General’s Office to share the story of Clarkson College and its academic programs. Navy Medicine is currently focused on expanding healthcare workforce pipeline programs that provide educational funding for students pursuing STEM and healthcare careers. We look forward to continued collaboration as we support Clarkson College students in pursuing a variety of healthcare career opportunities around the world.

Sharing photos from a recent EMS outreach event with Hooper Volunteer Fire Department and Nickerson Volunteer Fire & Rescue. Reaching out to our neighbors to share training is so important to the Clarkson College Interprofessional Simulation Center. This was just the latest in our growing effort to bring training to rural areas.
