After a full day of volunteers, Juneteenth celebrations, and all the wonderful chaos that comes with a busy Friday, Ms. Walsh was just about to head out for the weekend…

But not before we took a moment to celebrate her birthday!

Today, we celebrated the awesome person she is inside and out.

Happy Birthday, Ms. Walsh! We hope your birthday weekend is as wonderful as you are.

Thank you to the dads who made it to our annual Donuts for Dad’s event this morning. We see you picking up, dropping off, doing hair, brushing teeth, wiping faces, and everything in between. Wishing you a Father’s Day weekend as spectacular as you are!

Ms. Lorna recently had a birthday. She was called to report to the lobby. When you’re called to the lobby you’re never sure who it might be or why you’re being summoned. To her surprise and delight one of her parents took the time out of her day to say, thank you, I am grateful for you, and happy birthday.

Thank you to Ms. Joseph for helping celebrate Ms. Lorna’s birthday. Gestures like these remind us that strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Y’all our little stars had a blast celebrating National Movie Night! From movie-themed outfits to red carpet smiles, the day was filled with imagination, laughter, and memories worthy of the big screen! So of course check out the big screens throughout the school to get the tea on who wore what on the red carpet.

While many are looking forward to the weekend, our teachers are once again investing in themselves and their profession.

Today marks another day of training, learning, and growth. Today’s training through the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County focused on ways to recognize trauma in children. Ms. Ana and Ms. Maria demonstrated valuable techniques and strategies to use in the classroom for ourselves and for our students. We’re so grateful for their expertise.

One of the barriers to high quality care is the high turn-over in early learning centers. This morning we started our training recognizing the teachers and staff members who have been with us for 5 years. Strong schools are built by dedicated teachers who show up year after year, building relationships with children and earning the trust of families.

We are so grateful for the commitment, professionalism, and the countless ways we impact these little lives and show up in our community.
