Years after being told she "wouldn't have time to go back to school," a once discouraged and defeated Lindsay Flores is now proving otherwise.

While balancing work and raising a family, Lindsay is earning her Paralegal Certificate and Associate of Liberal Arts degree at JCCC—and is now considering law school as her next step.

With support from dedicated faculty and a scholarship that helped her purchase a laptop to continue her studies from home, Lindsay found the resources she needed to succeed.

Her advice to future Cavaliers? Take advantage of the support available.

"There is so much support available if you are willing to use it," she said. "JCCC has helped me realize there are no limits to what I can achieve."
