🌎The teacher, Mrs. Tammy Moore - a world traveler herself- is incredible! As students study different regions of the world, she often brings in missionaries- either in person or via Zoom- to share firsthand about the countries, people, and cultures they serve. What an amazing opportunity to learn about the world through real-life experiences!

🌏Mrs Moore brings in food from around the globe every week and will even have field trips to explore the many cultures and global communities represented throughout Houston, giving students a unique opportunity to connect what they’re learning in class with real-world experiences.

Does your student love taking photos? Help them develop real photography skills in a fun, hands-on class.

PHC’s Photography class, for 7-12th graders, is taught by an experienced professional photographer in a fun, encouraging, and faith-centered environment.

✨ It’s the only homeschool photography class of its kind in our area!

Students will learn to:
📷 Master camera basics
💡 Understand and use lighting effectively
🌟 Explore creative photography techniques
🖥️ Develop editing and post-processing skills
📸 Build a portfolio and discover their own artistic style

But photography is more than just taking pictures—Students will gain experience that can help them:

✨ Create content for social media and YouTube
✨ Launch a photography business or side hustle
✨ Photograph products for online stores and marketing
✨ Build skills useful in graphic design, journalism, advertising, and digital media

Students will learn to see the world through a photographer’s eye. The class will engage in devotional reflections that connect photography with themes of creativity, gratitude, service, and recognizing God’s handiwork in everyday life.

Custom-built 6x12 workshop/garden shed built as part of a supervised homeschool student construction program. Features include power with GFCI outlets, café lighting, sink with garden hose hookup, fold-down exterior work table, interior workbench, Gothic arch window, dual doors, treated lumber construction, hurricane reinforcement hardware, shingle roof with ridge vent, and delivery available within 40 miles with adequate access.

This is an incredible addition to any backyard or property.

Instructor and build supervisor of this project is a recently retired Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager for NASA. He has built many houses/structures including his own timber framed house which he also plumbed and wired himself. This shed is high quality and the detail is far superior to anything sold at typical shed suppliers.
