One of my favorite things I have in my classroom is my bin of "whatever fabric." 🎨✂️

Kids can play with it, make things with it, and the only limit is their own imagination. They can literally do whatever they want with it! Inevitably, this always leads to fun dress-up games—just like it did today! 😄

Between starting our batik project, learning how to macramé, and beginning a mermaid stuffy, the kids also created their own fashion designs using scraps from the bin. Watching their creativity come to life is one of the best parts of my job!

🌿 What do you like to do on the weekends to rejuvenate yourself? 🌿

I spent my morning at my favorite blueberry picking spot, Hillcrest Farms! The weather was beautiful, the birds were singing, and the owners are absolutely amazing. There's something so refreshing about slowing down, spending time outdoors, and filling a bucket with fresh blueberries.
