A big thank you to Mean well for their generous donation to the Pflugerville Education Foundation! 🎉

The donation allowed PfISD to purchase hydraulic STEM kits for the Career & Technical Education (CTE) program, giving PfISD students hands-on opportunities to explore engineering, problem-solving, and future career pathways.

✈️🌟 PEF Proudly Supports Student Achievement! 🌟✈️

On June 4, 2026, Antonio Delbosque and two outstanding River Oaks Elementary 5th-grade students, Juandiego González and Thiago Gómez, traveled to El Paso to compete in the Texas State Spanish Spelling Bee, representing their school, community, and Dual Language program with excellence.

The competition brought together 47 of the top Spanish spellers from across Texas, representing all 20 educational regions. During an intense spelling bee that lasted nearly 8 hours, both students demonstrated incredible focus, perseverance, and poise. We are especially proud to celebrate Juandiego's impressive 18th-place finish among the state's best competitors!

At PEF, we believe every student deserves access to opportunities that inspire growth and achievement. We were honored to support these students and their families by providing airfare and travel expenses so that parents could attend and cheer on their children during this unforgettable experience.

While the students did not advance to the National competition this year, they gained invaluable lessons in language, determination, and sportsmanship. Most importantly, they returned home motivated, inspired, and excited to compete again next year.

Congratulations to Juandiego, Thiago, their families, River Oaks Elementary, and the entire Dual Language program on this outstanding accomplishment. PEF is proud to support students as they pursue excellence both inside and outside the classroom! 🎉👏

The Pflugerville Education Foundation and Pflugerville ISD are proud to celebrate Connally High School students Brooklyn Scottmitchell and Leticia Vasquez for successfully completing their program at Ascension! 🎉

Throughout the internship, Brooklyn and Leticia gained valuable hands-on experience in Sterile Processing, a critical healthcare field focused on patient safety and the preparation of medical instruments. Both students did exceptionally well and made a lasting impression through their hard work, professionalism, and dedication.

We are excited to share that both students were offered the opportunity to return and work at Ascension over the summer before heading off to college! This incredible opportunity highlights the impact of partnerships that provide students with real-world career pathways and meaningful experiences.

A special thank you to Dena Shirley and Adrian Flores at Ascension for your support and commitment to helping our students succeed. Your mentorship and encouragement are making a difference in the lives of our students and future healthcare professionals!

A huge thank you to Gary Gibreal and 21st Century Painting and Roofing for their generous support of the Pathways to Careers (CTE) program at Pflugerville ISD!

Through their contribution to the Pflugerville Education Foundation, Pflugerville Middle School students received valuable CTE supplies that help prepare them for future careers and success.
