Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads at Saint Matthew School! ❤️🖤
From morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups to coaching teams, volunteering at events, helping with homework, making emergency pick-ups, driving to weekly Mass, and packing lunches, our dads do it all. No task is too big or too small when it comes to supporting their children and our school community.
We are truly blessed with some of the very best dads around!

Our last day of school Mass was truly beautiful. What a blessing to celebrate together on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Father Welsh shared the meaning of the Sacred Heart with our students and taught us a special prayer that his mother prayed with him each night:
“Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.”
What a wonderful reminder as we begin our summer vacation that Jesus is always by our side. Sister Jo is looking forward to seeing many of our students and families throughout the summer, especially at our weekly Masses.
The day was filled with excitement as awards were presented to students who achieved high academic averages, demonstrated consistent effort, and maintained perfect attendance. We also recognized two teachers, Miss Cunniff and Mr. Ciarroco, for their perfect attendance this school year.
As we close another wonderful year, we also honored the teachers who will not be returning next year. We thank them for their dedication to Saint Matthew School and wish them joy and happiness in their next chapter. To those entering retirement, we wish you peace, relaxation, and many blessings.
☀️May everyone enjoy a safe, happy, and faith-filled summer! Listen carefully, you will hear our students, Choir and Miss Vanessa leading our children in singing Angel of God and Our School Song.
Congratulations class of 2026! ❤️🎓🖤
What a beautiful night for graduation! Many, many awards were given to these amazing children. Each one being well deserved. What a proud moment for their parents, teachers and Saint Matthew Parish to hear the amount of students who received scholarships. This class earned $1,0048,50, you read that correctly, over 1 million dollars in scholarships! Proud is an understatement.
Go forth and live your life, see what God has planned for you! ❤️🖤
Spirit Day! ☀️❤️🤍
What an amazing day with our Saint Matthew friends! The children kicked off our final week of school enjoying beautiful weather, lots of laughter, friendly competition, teamwork, and special moments together as we celebrate the close of the 2025–2026 school year. Seeing so many smiles and making lasting memories made for a truly perfect day! Thank you Miss. Gorman, our wonderful gym teacher, for making this day possible!
A special thank you to Saint Matthew alumnus Dan Kilcoyne, Class of 1996, for treating our entire school to a delicious surprise from his company, Mini Melts. We are so grateful for your generosity and kindness. The students absolutely loved their sweet treat!
What a wonderful way to celebrate our Saint Matthew community! ❤️🍦🎉
Red Team came up the winners but White Team sure gave them a run for their money!

Big Congratulations to our JV Boys Baseball team who won the CYO Championship on Thursday night! The boys and their coaches worked very hard this season. We are Saint Matt’s proud! ❤️⚾️🖤
Mrs. Wimsey’s PreK-3 had a fabulous year!
They started the year as timid little learners and blossomed into responsible, kind, caring, and happy friends. Throughout the year, they mastered many important skills—from learning how to use scissors and write and spell their names to developing confidence in communicating with others.
More importantly, they learned how to be good friends, showing kindness, compassion, and respect to those around them. They learned about Jesus and practiced sharing His love each and every day through their words and actions.
Thank you for choosing Saint Matthew School and allowing us to be part of your child’s journey. As you move on to your next adventure, remember all that you have learned and accomplished. We are so proud of each and every one of you!
Happy Summer, PreK-3! Your next adventure awaits, and it is sure to be exciting ! ☀️❤️📚
