Maker Space Monday at STEM Prep Academy!
Today our young innovators transformed ideas into creations during Maker Space Monday! From designing and building to testing and improving their projects, our students used creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to bring their imaginations to life.
At STEM Prep, the Maker Space is more than just a place to build, it’s where children learn to think like engineers, inventors, and designers. Every creation starts with a question, a plan, and the confidence to try something new.

One idea at a time, our students are developing the STEM thinking skills that will help them become tomorrow’s innovators.

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, bonus dads, mentors, and father figures who show up, support, encourage, protect, and help our children grow.
Thank you for being part of their foundation, cheering them on, and helping them believe they can explore, create, build, and become anything.
From all of us at STEM Prep Academy, we wish you a day filled with love, appreciation, and joy.

Today, on College Decision Day, timelines are filled with proud announcements, but what many don’t see is where it all begins.
Future doctors, engineers, scientists, and innovators don’t just decide on STEM in high school, it starts early.
Research shows:
Children begin forming ideas about careers as early as elementary school.
Early math skills are one of the strongest predictors of later academic achievement.
Students exposed to STEM experiences in early childhood are more likely to pursue STEM pathways later.
Confidence in STEM ability is often developed before middle school.
By middle school, many students have already decided whether STEM is for them.
Early STEM exposure shapes identity, confidence, and interest.
College decisions are the outcome of years of experiences, not just one moment. So as we celebrate today’s college commitments, let’s also recognize the importance of starting early.
Because the future of STEM doesn’t start in college, It starts in childhood!
Scholars stepped into the role of veterinarians, observing, asking questions, and caring for their patients.
This is more than play.
This is real-world learning.
Through hands-on experiences, children build critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence, all while having fun.
This is how we introduce STEM early… and make it meaningful.
