Congratulations to Abby Stamelman Hocky, recipient of the 2026 Dare to Understand® Award.

For years, Abby has championed Interfaith Philadelphia's mission of fostering understanding and cooperation among people of diverse faith traditions and backgrounds. Her leadership has helped create spaces where meaningful dialogue, authentic relationships, and lasting community connections can flourish.
Reflecting on the celebration, Abby shared that the evening felt like a "tsunami of love"—a fitting description of a community that has been shaped by her vision, dedication, and care.

Day 2 of Center for Interfaith Cooperation's "Pilgrim Pairs" journey took them to visit BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha Hindu temple in Robbinsville, NJ, and the galleries of the Philadelphia Museum of Art While there, they explored such topics as "how place, identity, and power shape interfaith engagement."
