As the FIFA Fan Festival and 2026 FIFA World Cup kick off, we're looking back at the community paint days that helped bring "Love of the Game" to life.

Created by artist Nile Livingston, this new mural celebrates the energy, joy, and connection that soccer inspires across cultures and generations. What began as an interactive digital mosaic that invited Philadelphians to support the city's World Cup bid will soon become a permanent public artwork honoring this historic moment for our city.

From students at Pan American Academy Charter School, who'll be the mural's hosting site, to community members of all ages, hundreds of hands helped paint it, leaving their mark on a project that reflects the vibrancy, diversity, and love of the beautiful game found throughout our city.

With the world's eyes turning toward Philly, we're proud to celebrate the power of art, sport, and community in partnership with Philadelphia Soccer 2026, Life at Vanguard, and Airbnb.
