This Week in SJU History: A look back at moments from Saint Joseph's University history that took place this week across the decades. ❤️🩶
📸 Photo 1 (June 8, 1963): Alumni from the Class of 1938 gathered for their 25th reunion and presented William F. Maloney, S.J. with a check for $4,130.
📸 Photo 2 (June 9, 1961): The Latin American Studies Institute hosted a luncheon honoring J. Peter Grace to mark the close of its first year. Guests included J. Peter Grace, J. Joseph Bluett, S.J., Milton J. Shapp, Matthew Sullivan, S.J., and others.
📸 Photo 3 (June 12, 1961): J. Joseph Bluett, S.J. received a certificate of appreciation from Joe Manganero, representing the Pennsylvania Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Dolores Lopresti, BS ‘76, has taught at Saint Margaret School since 1976, right after graduating from Saint Joseph's University. She is known as a beloved second grade teacher who has impacted generations of students. ❤️
The school community celebrated her retirement with cheers, performances from each grade, and a ride in a fire truck. One of the firefighters was a former student, bringing her career full circle. https://www.fox29.com/news/saint-margaret-school-celebrates-50-year-career-narberth-teacher
