๐งก๐As a member of House Patientia, Ky'ale has shown patience and perseverance as he developed his skills both on and off the court. After earning a coveted spot on the Huskies in 6th grade, he steadily grew into a bigger role each season through hard work, coachability, and determination. By the end of this year, those qualities earned him Philadelphia Youth Basketball League All-Star honors. He will bring that same drive to improve his studies at Church Farm School. Kyโale, you belong here, you can do this, you can get smarter, and this work is important to your future. Please join us in congratulating Kyโale! ๐

Our last 8th grade sermons of the school year, Aryanna shared simple, powerful homework with our community. ๐งก โBe yourself.โ Aryanna reminded us that God made us exactly as we are, and the people who love us gave us our names so thereโs no need to be anyone else. She encouraged us to use our time at St. James to truly know ourselves and one another: our classmates, our lunch tables, our community. โIt is a gift and a challenge to be a community that knows each other this well. Donโt take it for granted. Soak it all in.โ Thank you, Aryanna, for your wisdom, warmth, and reminder to be fully present ๐

โจ๐ฏ๏ธBaccalaureate Mass was a beautiful moment to gather one last time in worship with our Class of 2026. Together, we celebrated all that they have grown into and reflected on the journey that brought them here. Our staff served as readers and acolytes, surrounding our students with love and support. At the close of the Mass, each of our soon-to-be graduates received a candle, a powerful reminder to carry their light forward and continue to light the world wherever they go next. ๐โจ

๐ 8th grader Kahlil left us with clear, purposeful homework during his sermon. โUse your time here at this school to find your why.โ Kahlil challenged us to think about what makes hard work worth it and what motivates us to care even when something is difficult. He shared his own โwhyโ is caring about his future and being able to provide for himself and his future family. Kahlil reminded us that taking care of people is one way we share the love of God. His closing reminder grounded us all: โGod gives us confidence and a path, but we still have to do our part.โ Thank you, Kahlil, for your honesty, vision, and leadership! ๐
