PDA offers: Early Childhood, Primary, and Pre-Professional Ballet, Theater, Contemporary, Pilates Caregivers actively participate in this class.
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM (2 - 6 years old)
The Early Childhood Program includes Dance Together-Toddler & Caregiver Creative Movement, Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes. This program is designed to cultivate the joy for ballet in our youngest dancers while introducing them to the format of a dance class. ☀️ Summer Faculty Spotlight: Skyler Lubin
Skyler has been a member of BalletX since 2015, performing in numerous world premieres. From 2010 to 2014, danced with Miami City Ballet as a member of the Corps de Ballet under the direction of Edward Villella and Lourdes Lopez, performing featured roles such as Flower Festival pas de deux, Swan Lake pas de trois, and Jerome Robbins’s Afternoon of a Faun, while also premiering works by Alexei Ratmansky and Liam Scarlett.
Skyler attended summer programs at The School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. In 2008, Skyler was invited to perform at The Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow Gala. She continued training at Miami City Ballet School after early training at The Rock School for Dance Education.

☀️ Summer Faculty Spotlight: Anabel Alpert
Anabel Alpert is the founding artistic and executive director of the NYC Emerging Artists Project. After she graduated from Miami City Ballet School, Anabel danced professionally with The Sarasota Ballet, Ballet Austin, American Contemporary Ballet, and New Chamber Ballet.
As an experienced marketing director, administrative assistant, organizational ambassador, and donor liaison, Anabel is passionate about facilitating growth in professional dancers, pre-professional ballet students, and arts organizations through coaching, rehearsal directing, and mentorship.In addition to her varied background as a professional ballet dancer, Anabel serves as the founder and chair of the New Chamber Ballet Young Patrons Club, which has increased audience engagement and retention and raised over $10,000 within its first six months.
After spending several years balancing full-time professional dancing and part-time university classes, Anabel graduated cm laude from Pennsylvania State University, earning her degree in organizational leadership. Anabel currently teaches ballet at Eglevksy Ballet in Bethpage, NY and guest teaches at numerous schools across the country. Driven by her desire to promote and support emerging dancers and choreographers, Anabel founded the NYC Emerging Artists Project in 2023. In 2025, Anabel became repetiteur and new commissions/licensing manager for world-renowned choreographer, Lauren Lovette. In 2026, she was promoted to Creative Partner for Lauren Lovette.

Aubrey has been dancing at PDA for the past 13 years and will be heading to Robert Morris University this fall.

☀️ Summer Faculty Spotlight: Miro Magloire
Miro Magloire is the founder and artistic director of New Chamber Ballet, where he has created more than 100 original ballets distinguished by elegant movement, striking theatricality, and bold musical choices. Praised by The New York Times as “refreshingly original,” his work is especially known for its innovative collaborations with musicians and contemporary composers.
Born in Munich, Germany, Magloire began his career as an award-winning composer before moving to New York to study modern dance and ballet. He founded New Chamber Ballet in 2004, and his works have been commissioned and presented by leading arts organizations and venues, including Jacob’s Pillow, the Museum of Arts and Design, and the American Academy in Rome. In 2017, he was selected as one of 25 national arts leaders for APAP’s Leadership Fellows Program.
