As the 2025-2026 school year wraps up, we're grateful for our students, teachers, staff, newest graduates and the wider PC community that makes it all possible.

We're 88% to our Annual Fund goal—help us cross the finish line! Please make your gift by June 30, 2026, at penncharter.com/give. A gift of any amount enriches the experience of our students, providing the strong academic foundation and skills needed to thrive at Penn Charter and beyond. Thank you in advance for your generosity and for supporting a Penn Charter community that cares for one another.

ICYMI: Before the seniors walked across the stage at commencement, the "Lifers" - ie students who have attended Penn Charter from PK/K-12 - shared a lovely evening at the Head's Residence where they reflected on their many years at Penn Charter. Party favors included photos of each student when they were in kindergarten, prompting much nostalgia, laughter, and sharing of memories.

We'll miss you - come back and visit and let us know where your journey has taken you!

Penn Charter Summer Camps kicked off today, and we're so excited for what this summer will bring. At the Phillies Baseball Academy, campers got a big surprise at drop-off—a visit from the Phillie Phanatic himself! Hijinks ensued.

Thank you, Phanatic and Philadelphia Phillies for making our first day of camp so special!!

Last week, students, faculty and staff staged a surprise "clap-out" to honor Charlie Brown, who has decided that this will be his final year in a full-time teaching role at Penn Charter. In his almost 40 years at Penn Charter, Charlie has served not only as an outstanding teacher, but as a steady division director, trusted mentor, a compassionate colleague, a respected coach and a friend to many throughout the Penn Charter community. While Charlie is stepping away from full-time classroom responsibilities, he is not stepping away from the Penn Charter community. He plans to continue as a very active and visible presence on campus in roles that may include coaching, substitute teaching, mentoring, and other forms of support that align with his passions and strengths. His ongoing involvement will be a gift to students, families, and all of us who value his wisdom, steadiness, and deep commitment to this school. Thank you, Charlie!
