Shoemaker Campus ended the school year on a major high note! Students and staff were honored by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker for taking home second place in the Philly Service Impact Awards for the school's Hope Heal Rise: Student Wellness Conference. This recognition highlights Shoemaker's excellence in coupling rigorous academics with deep, intentional support for students' overall well-being, including their mental and emotional health. We are proud of the students and staff who brought the event to life and closed out the school year in such a profound way. That’s a wrap for the 2025-2026 school year! Students spent the final days of the year on exciting field trips that piqued curiosity and sparked interest, and celebrated their achievements at award ceremonies. We will miss seeing the bright faces and minds of our students. Wishing each and every member of the Mastery community a safe and restful summer break. A success story 13 years in the making! Congratulations to the Thomas Campus Class of 2026! The graduation was extra special as the school celebrated 24 Thomas Legacy students who began their journey with Mastery Schools in Thomas Elementary's very first kindergarten class. To celebrate this milestone, the graduates took a nostalgic walk through the halls of their former elementary school, handing letters of gratitude to the teachers who influenced them and inspiring current Thomas Elementary students to keep working hard toward their academic goals. This school year, our students showed up, worked hard, and grew in ways they might not even see yet. We wish all of our families a safe and restful summer. Este año escolar, nuestros estudiantes se presentaron, trabajaron arduamente y crecieron de maneras que tal vez ni siquiera perciban todavía. Is your student ready to read this summer? 📖Students at Mann Elementary had special visitors help them get ready for a summer full of literary adventures as they received summer reading books, assignments, and reading logs. Reading over the summer is essential to ensuring your student maintains positive momentum and avoids the summer slide, when learning loss occurs. Don't forget to make sure your student has all their summer reading materials prepared before summer break begins.
