Our Gesu School community was delighted to welcome the honorable Judge Lori A. Dumas as our 2026 graduation speaker. We thank her for delivering a powerful speech encouraging students to consider how they will implement the platform God has given them to use their voices, uplift others, make a positive impact, and let their light shine. Judge Dumas inspired our students by sharing her personal journey and demonstrating how she uses her platform to be a force for good and treat all with dignity and respect. Our community is proud of all our recent graduates and wish them continued success as scholars and leaders! Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

What a joyful evening of community building and shared wisdom at Gesu School! Thank you to Fr. James Martin, SJ and Senator Bob Casey, Jr. for sharing your stories of work and family, both poignant and humorous, and how our Catholic faith inspires you to serve and to find meaning in every stage of life. We loved learning about Fr. Martin’s local roots and were treated to a reading, in the correct Philly accent, from his new book, Work in Progress. And what a blessing to hear Senator Casey’s reflections on his work as Gesu 5th Grade Teacher and Coach, and how his time as a Jesuit volunteer impacted his life in public service. Thank you for bringing your class photos, Senator Casey!
We’re grateful to moderator Christine Eberle for so thoughtfully guiding the conversation and to our good friends at IVC Philadelphia/South Jersey for spearheading the event and for their commitment to service at Gesu and in communities across the nation. AMDG! And stay tuned for more photos.
