What if the most important thing happening at the World Cup isn't what's happening on the field?

As billions tune in and millions travel across borders, we're witnessing something increasingly rare: large-scale opportunities for human connection. Social media feeds are filled with visitors sharing stories of hospitality, friendship, and unexpected encounters that challenge assumptions and stereotypes.

These moments matter.

The defining challenges of our time, from climate change to economic inequality, require collaboration across cultures, sectors, and nations. That collaboration becomes possible when we see one another not as strangers, but as partners in a shared future.

In our latest article, TGP Founder & CEO Melissa Lee reflects on what the World Cup can teach us about travel, trust, global citizenship, and the power of people-to-people connection.

What becomes possible when we start treating global connection not as an exception, but as the starting point?

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the generations of Black Americans whose perseverance helped shape a more just and equitable future.

Itโ€™s also a reminder that meaningful change happens when opportunity is expanded, and barriers are removed.

Weโ€™re excited about our upcoming Climate Finance program in Jamaica and the impactful partnerships that are helping to make global learning, cultural exchange, and sustainability education more accessible for everyone.

Happy Juneteenth. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’š

Oceans do so much for us, and we don't talk about it enough ๐ŸŒŠ

Home to over 80% of all life on earth, producing more than half the oxygen we breathe, and regulating the climate systems that keep our planet livable, oceans do it all.

And they are under more pressure than ever.

Rising temperatures, an alarming decline in marine species, acidification, oceans are ground zero for climate change - and the signs are everywhere.

That's why at TGP, we don't just teach climate solutions in a classroom.
We take students to the frontlines - where the water is, where the impacted communities are, and where cutting-edge marine preservation and blue economy policies are playing out in real time.

This World Ocean Day, letโ€™s remember exactly why this work matters.

๐ŸŒŽ TODAY is World Environment Day, a global movement led by the to raise awareness and inspire action for some of our planet's most pressing environmental challenges.

But protecting our environment isn't just about preserving natural resources... it's about supporting the people, communities, and ecosystems that depend on them every day.

That's why environmental education matters. When we learn from different perspectives, engage with communities firsthand, and experience sustainability in action, we gain a deeper understanding of both the challenges we face and the solutions that are possible.

Here at TGP, we believe some of the most impactful lessons happen beyond the classroom. Through immersive study abroad experiences, participants explore sustainable development, connect with local communities, and discover how global challenges require collaborative solutions.

As we celebrate World Environment Day, we're also looking ahead to our upcoming Peru program: the perfect opportunity for YOU to learn, grow, and experience sustainability where it comes to life.

๐Ÿ“ Applications for our upcoming Peru program close TOMORROW - so, don't miss your chance to experience sustainability firsthand ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ช
