H.A. Brown Academics Plus

🚧 Safety Update! 🚧

We are excited to share that all streets surrounding H.A. Brown School (Jasper Street, Sergeant Street, Emerald Street, and Firth Street) will have newly installed speed bumps this week!

This important improvement will help slow traffic, increase pedestrian safety, and make our school community safer for students, families, staff, and neighbors.

☀️🏃‍♂️🏀Our end of the year PBIS event was perfect! For our annual field day, our students (and staff) spent the day making memories and having fun with obstacle courses, basketball, football, volleyball, sand art, tattoos, water ice, and so much more. Seeing our students laugh, play, and celebrate together was the perfect way to kick off the end of an incredible school year. A huge shout out to the Field Day Committee and all of our parent and community volunteers!

🌿☀️ Learning came to life at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge! Our students spent the day exploring nature, observing wildlife, and discovering the importance of protecting our environment. Experiences like these help turn curiosity into learning and create memories that last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful field trip possible! 🦆🌱

Our 8th Grade Dance was filled with laughter, music, dancing, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of our students and grateful for the friendships, joy, and special moments they shared together. As they prepare for their next chapter, we’re celebrating the memories made and the bright futures ahead. 💙🎉🕺💃

🎶✨ Our Spring Concert was a huge success! A special thank you to our incredible staff for planning and executing such an amazing event that showcased the many talents of our students. From singing and dancing to instrumental performances, our students truly shined. We are so proud of their hard work and grateful to our staff and families for making the event so memorable! 🌟🎵

☀️🌡️ Our students had an amazing time at NBC10’s Weather Education Day at Citizens Bank Park. From learning about weather and science to enjoying a day at the ballpark, it was a fun-filled (and very sweaty!) experience for everyone.
