Nothing says summer is right around the corner quite like an ice cream party! Our young learners enjoyed a sweet treat while spending quality time with their friends, sharing laughs, making memories, and celebrating the season ahead. Moments like these are an important part of a child's educational experience, providing opportunities to relax, recharge, and build meaningful social connections. After a well-deserved break, our students returned refreshed and ready to continue learning, growing, and developing into the leaders of tomorrow.

Last Friday, our young learners had a wonderful time at Donuts With Grown-Ups! Families gathered to enjoy pastries, create arts and crafts, and share meaningful moments together. These experiences helped strengthen the connection between home and school, giving children the confidence, support, and sense of belonging that are so important during the early years of learning and development. Thank you to all the families who joined us for this special morning!

Fresh air, sunshine, and discovery at every turn! Our young gardeners spent a beautiful day outside tending to a Garden Revitalization Project supported by Pre-K Counts & Head Start Grants.
As they plant, water, and explore, children are learning how to care for a healthy garden while getting an early introduction to botany and ecology through real-world experience. Outdoor play like this encourages curiosity, builds responsibility, and strengthens a child’s connection to the natural world. 🌱☀️

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom: One that can never be repaid, only remembered with gratitude and respect.
May we take a moment of reflection, hold space for their memory, and honor the legacy they leave behind.

In honor of Memorial Day, our young learners created thoughtful memorial collages while practicing their cutting and fine motor skills in the classroom. More importantly, they were given the opportunity to learn the meaning of remembrance, sacrifice, and gratitude for the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country.
Art plays a vital role in early childhood education because it encourages creativity, emotional expression, focus, and developmental growth.
