Yesterday we celebrated our graduates beside family, friends, members of our Board of Trustees, Administration and Faculty. Although this chapter in their story is closed, we wish them the best of luck as they begin the next chapter of high school. At La Salle Academy, graduation does not mark a goodbye as our alums now join our Graduate Support Program, but for the summer we will say see you later!

LSA took part in an exciting mural project at the Lits Brothers Building in Center City to mark Philadelphia's America 250! Our Art Teacher, Kitty Maley, and LSA students connected with Mark Merlini of Brickstone Realty and artist Patrick vale to create a piece connected to a larger mural celebrating "What is MY Philadelphia?"
Ms. Maley and Patrick guided the students and their creativity POPPED. The joy on their faces was priceless as they saw the mural come to life! A very special thank you to Mark, Patrick, and Ms. Maley and a big kudos to our students for the work they did.

After a tough week of final exams, we have so many Every Champion Students of the Week to be proud of!
Congratulations to all for your hard work this week and throughout the school year.

A key piece of LSA's model is our Extended Day program. Three days a week students are in school until 5pm where they participate in Homework Club and other extracurricular activities. This school year, Sixth Grade learned all about nutritious foods and how to prep and cook some delicious meals through My Family Kitchen and Food Trust. These programs taught our students about proper kitchen safety, the benefits of nutritious foods, and provided them with recipes they can cook at home!
A special thank you to the instructors for the time they spent with Sixth Grade this year.
