We couldn't let 🐾 National Mascot Day 🐾 go by without a shout out to the best around! We are super proud of our school mascots, Jerome the Lion, Lucy the Lioness, and Roary the Cub.
They represent kindness, teamwork, and good sportsmanship! As a very important part of our school family, Jerome, Lucy, and Roary can be seen regularly at school celebrations and family activities.
They always manage to add that little bit of fun that turns a school event into a special memory. And we certainly have quite a few favorite mascot moments from throughout the school year! 🦁

7TH GRADE ELA ESCAPE ROOM CHALLENGE
For their final class of the year, Mr. Merrick surprised the 7th graders with an escape room inspired by one of the novels they read this spring, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Students worked collaboratively in teams to solve book-based puzzles, crack codes, and unlock a series of challenges. The final puzzle required the entire class to come together and combine their knowledge and teamwork skills.
We're proud to report that they successfully solved every challenge in under 30 minutes—and earned gummy bears as their well-deserved reward! 🎉🐻
What a fun and engaging way to celebrate a year of reading, critical thinking, and collaboration!

STAFF APPRECIATION DUCK POND
Before ducking out for summer vacation last week, our teachers took a dip in the St. Jerome Prize Duck Pond! Each staff member adopted a numbered rubber duck, and when their lucky number was called, they got to choose a prize from the pond.
Just a small thank you for all they do! Wishing our amazing faculty a summer filled with relaxation, sunshine, and smooth sailing. ☀️🕶️
