Beautiful memories from our Awards Ceremony and Farewell Party for the Class of 2026 are here. The event itself was filled with moments that will remain in our hearts for years to come.

From celebrating our newest graduates who had walked at the university-wide commencement just a day earlier, to inducting the new IGSA Executive Board for 2026–2027, to recognizing the remarkable service of Essien Oku Essien, Sonika Lamichhane, and Alpha West Sannoh, who served the Association across two successive executive boards from 2024–2026, the evening was truly special.

The event also celebrated our outstanding board members who served the Association in various executive capacities during the 2025–2026 academic year, including Filza Zuberi, Prachi Ghogare, Aavas Bhandari, Ankita Sunil Agawane, Shanmukha Rao Allipilli, Ebenezer Kyeremeh , John Issahaku, and others whose contributions helped strengthen our community.

The past two years have been marked by accomplishments, growth, and service that will continue to guide the new Executive Board and the wider Association toward even greater achievements.

Congratulations to everyone, and long live the International Graduate Students Association at Drexel University.

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ kicks off today, and the IGSA is proudly rooting for all national teams participating in this historic tournament.

We cannot wait to see how the beautiful game of football continues to remind us that we are one world, united across cultures, languages, and borders. To all the teams competing here in the United States, we say: welcome to our country of study. And welcome to the City of Philadelphia

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must be a current graduate student at Drexel University.
2. Expected graduation date must be March 2027 or later, with strong preference given to candidates graduating well beyond this date.
