A blowout patch is a tape-free way repair small to medium holes in walls and ceilings and a skill any carpenter should know how to do out in the field. Instructor John shows us how a finished patch should look at the end!

The Building Maintenance booths are coming along!

Students are learning how to install underlayment (a shock absorber, sound dampener, and moisture barrier) and VCT tile (a highly durable, budget-friendly commercial flooring made from natural limestone and vinyl binders) in their individual booths.

Our phase 2 electrical students are in the Greenlee lab learning how to use tools like a reciprocating saw with wood and metal blades, a spade drill, a 90 degree drill and more.

Learning how and when to use tools like these are good skills for both residential and commercial electricians to have out in the field.
