Education about the New Food Pyramid development was presented by Tom and Mary Cooley
Main takeaway. We all need to focus on eating more healthy foods and less ultra processed foods with additives.
We as chefs need to do our best with the help we have to feed people the healthiest foods ,since we can keep people healthier. We can share what we should know about healthy foods beginning with children, so that they eat fresh vegetables, fruits, proteins and REAL FOOD. And if your kid only likes chocolate milk, well then let them drink chocolate milk, which is better than no milk at all. Milk consumption by humans has been identified as far back as 7000 BC. According to medical journals, chocolate is mood altering for all ages and contains flavonoids. It also could be good for your heart.
