The 2026 season will begin in DeLand, Florida on Thursday, August 13 as Florida State takes on Stetson to begin their season. Florida State heads to Miami twice (at FIU and then at Miami Hurricanes Soccer), takes on Florida in Gainesville, and Georgia in Athens. Pretty good non-conference schedule and in the ACC they'll begin with North Carolina State on September 11th.

Florida State will take on North Carolina in a battle of the previous two champions. Florida State though will not face Stanford (whom they defeated in the national championship last year).

Florida State will conclude the regular season at home against Virginia Tech.

Men's College World Series: Oklahoma defeated Alabama 9-0 in the opening round. Oklahoma heads to the Winner's bracket while Alabama will have to win four straight to reach the National Championship series.

Oklahoma will face either Texas or Georgia in the winner's bracket game on Monday.

Santa Clara Women's Soccer will begin their season on the road at San Jose State. But they've got a dynamic home slate this year. Cal, Oregon, Pitt, UCLA, and Stanford all come to Santa Clara this year in a pretty great non-conference schedule. Oregon State and Washington State have departed the WCC, but Denver enters the fold this year. So they'll get three ACC teams this year including last year's national finalist.

Unlike the previous seasons, the WCC will now host a four team postseason tournament to determine the AQ.

But Santa Clara will have a chance to win the league again this year and see if they can get back to the NCAA Tournament.

This was 100% the correct move and the judge is correct in this ruling. Yes, collegiate athletes should be allowed to wager on their own teams and other teams outside their games as long as they are not point shaving. But I have been a long advocate that collegiate athletes should be allowed to wager on their own teams and others as long as they don't point shave.

In addition, I am of the opinion they should be allowed to wager on other teams outside their sport.

About time they allowed this.

For those complaining that collegiate sports was broken by this ruling I will counter your argument that it was long broken before when the NIL and transfer portals ruined the game and made this a basic free for all for teams to outspend others to win.

If anyone wants to know, the same energy goes for the professional athletes. Let them do the same as the collegiate kids. As long as you don't point shave, have it as far as wagering on your teams and others.

Florida State travels to Knoxville to face Tennessee on Tuesday, December 1st as part of the Men's ACC-SEC Challenge. Florida State and Tennessee last met in November 2019 but never in the ACC-SEC Challenge.

Florida State will host Florida in Tallahassee and travel to either Houston or Dallas to take on Texas A&M as well from the SEC. Those dates and times will be announced later this summer.

The marquee game of the ACC-SEC Challenge will be Duke at Florida on Tuesday, December 1st in Gainesville. Two elite championship programs who met in Durham last year will meet in Gainesville this year. Florida already faces Miami, Florida State, and Notre Dame of the ACC but the marquee game will be Duke coming to Gainesville. Expect the O-Dome to be off the charts for this one.

Going to have some incredible matchups in the ACC-SEC Challenge for the guys. Alabama heading to Miami in a matchup of two teams who made Final Fours this decade. Miami went to Houston in 2023 while Alabama went to Phoenix in 2024. Both are serious contenders again this year and now the Crimson Tide heads to Miami to take the Hurricanes on Wednesday, December 2nd.
