You are capable.

Intelligent.

Successful.

Responsible.

You know how to lead teams, navigate complexity, manage pressure, and make things happen.

And yet, at home, motherhood can bring you to your wits' end.

Not because they are failing.

But because motherhood touches the places success cannot protect.

The places where guilt lives.

Where control takes over.

Where old stories whisper:

"You should be doing more."

"You should have known better."

"This is too much."

"You shouldn't be losing your patience."

For many women, these voices become the soundtrack beneath the surface of everyday life.

And over time, guilt becomes exhausting.

Not because it helps us grow.

But because it keeps us stuck in shame.

This is why I created From Guilt to Grace.

Not as another parenting strategy.

Not as another thing to do better.

But as a monthly conversation for women leaders who are also mothers—a space to come back to what is real and true.

To soften the grip of guilt.

To better understand the nervous system beneath our reactions.

To restore connection with ourselves and the people we love most.

To remember that wisdom, not perfection, is the path.

Because grace does not mean we stop taking responsibility.

Grace means we stop using shame as the way we grow.

What would change if you stopped trying to parent from perfection and started leading from grace?

Children do not need perfect mothers. They need mothers who are willing to repair, return, and stay in a relationship.

Perfection is not the goal—connection is.

It happened in the moments when my child was melting down, and my nervous system wanted to control.

It happened when I had to choose between protecting my image as a “good mother” and protecting the relationship.

It happened when I had to hold a boundary without hardening my heart.

It happened when I had to let one of my children walk a path I would not have chosen for them.

Motherhood reveals us.

It shows us where we confuse control with care.

It shows us where guilt is quietly making our decisions.

It shows us where we abandon our own knowing to keep the peace.

It shows us where we still need everyone around us to be okay so we can feel okay.

And this is why I believe motherhood is not separate from leadership.

Motherhood is leadership.

Not because mothers need one more thing to perform.

But because the inner capacities required to stay present, regulated, truthful, relational, and wise under pressure are the very capacities the world is asking from leaders now.

The future of leadership is not only being shaped in organizations.

It is being shaped around kitchen tables.

In hard conversations.

In moments of repair.

In the daily practice of choosing connection over control.

Where is motherhood currently refining your leadership?

Guilt is not always a sign that you've done something wrong.

Sometimes guilt appears because you're outgrowing an old identity—the always available mother, the constantly in motion woman, the one who keeps everyone comfortable.

When you begin to change, your old internal operating system starts losing its grip.

This is why guilt must be listened to with wisdom, not obeyed automatically.

Sometimes guilt is guiding you to repair. And, sometimes guilt is the emotional residue of becoming more honest, more boundaried, more self-led, and more free.

The work is learning the difference.

Strong women don’t break… right?

We adapt.
We push through.
We hold it all together.

Until one day…
we don’t recognize ourselves anymore.

The heaviness.
The exhaustion.
The quiet loss of joy.

This isn’t failure. 🌿
It’s what happens when you’ve been over-functioning for too long.

This is your moment to question what you’ve normalized…
and choose differently.

Not by doing more—
But by softening.

Your soul is calling for rest. For more connection. For just a little bit of reprieve from the constant doing. And yet, guilt is the narrator that is telling you - there is always more to do!

Guilt has a sneaky way of playing in the background all day long. Driving you to do more, and manage more, and move more things forward.

What if your guilt is not personal, but a collective expereince that all mothers expereince? Then wouldn't it be time for us to take a lcloser ook at that - that perhaps this is part of a system that keeps us apart, exhausted and not wanting to share?

Step into our FREE Zoom call April 24 and learn how to turn guilt into grace.

We talk about needing more women in boardrooms, politics, and C-suites—but we cannot forget that these women are also mothers. 🌿

Every day, they are shaping the next generation, creating the future in every small moment. Mothers are the most transformative leadership we have.

When we support mothers to expand their skills, capacities, and depth, we unlock the leaders the world truly needs. 💫

Join me on April 24th to explore why the very same skills that make great mothers also make visionary leaders. For the Visionary High Capacity Mother —this is your invitation to release what is not yours and access something far deeper, together. 🌟
