Meet Casey Green, Campus Director of the new AZACS Mesa Elementary Campus.
Casey has spent her career working with students on the spectrum, and she'll tell you the same thing every time: success looks different for every kid. For one student it might be paying for a meal on their own. For another it's making the bed or setting the table. For another it's college, a job, more independence.
"What's successful and what's supportive to one student might not be supportive to another."
So that's how she teaches. Meeting students where they are, individualizing the classroom, sitting on the floor to play, having real conversations, and setting each one up for whatever they decide to do.
In fall 2026, that support comes to Mesa. We've seen how families thrive at our campuses across Arizona, and we can't wait to be here for the East Valley.

Arizona Autism Charter Schools
Arizona Autism Charter Schools (AZACS) is the first tuition-free, charter specializing in autism.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of the AZACS Mesa Elementary Campus.
Today was more than the opening of a new school. It was the beginning of a new chapter for students and families in East Mesa.
We are incredibly grateful to our families, staff, community partners, supporters, and everyone who helped make this milestone possible. Your support, dedication, and belief in our mission have helped bring this vision to life.
As we expand the AZACS family into East Mesa, we look forward to supporting more students, empowering more families, and building a strong community together.
Enrollment is still open for the 2026-2027 school year. If you know a family who may benefit from autism-focused education, we encourage you to share this opportunity with them. https://bit.ly/3RW3RSt

We can't wait to spend the summer with you!
For Ryan, the biggest difference was finally feeling supported.
Before AZACS, school felt frustrating and isolating. Falling behind, struggling to ask for help, and feeling unseen made learning feel impossible.
At AZACS, he found an environment where students are supported, encouraged to learn at their own pace, and surrounded by people willing to help them succeed.
Stories like his are why AZACS continues creating learning environments designed specifically for autistic students and their unique needs.

AZACS Celebrates our CTE Students!
We proudly congratulate our AZACS students who successfully passed the CTE TSA Examination in Tech Device Maintenance for the school year 25-26. Their hard work, dedication, and technical skills have led them to this important achievement.
A CTE certification in Technology Device Maintenance gives students hands-on, real-world tech skills that can lead directly to careers in IT, cybersecurity, networking, and device repair while building a strong foundation for future certifications and college pathways.
As they prepare to graduate, we commend these students for their commitment to excellence and wish them success in their future careers and endeavors.

Big news for AZACS Tucson!
As our Tucson community grows, Arizona Autism Charter Schools is expanding into two dedicated, tuition-free campuses to better support students at every stage.
We’re excited to introduce a new Upper School serving grades 6–12, while our current campus transitions to an elementary school for younger learners.
This next step strengthens our commitment to providing supportive, autism-focused learning environments as we grow with the families we serve.
More information coming soon.
Every child’s needs are different and for some families, those differences can look completely unique even within the same home.
For Justine, finding one school that could truly support both of her sons felt life-changing.
At AZACS Tucson, her children are supported as individuals in an environment designed specifically for autistic learners whether they are verbal, nonverbal, sensory-seeking, highly expressive, or need additional support throughout the day.
Families across our Tucson campus community continue to find educators and staff who meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Learn more about all of our Arizona campuses https://bit.ly/4nnjtKo
