Happy Father’s Day To All Our Amazing Gator Dads! 💙💚💙

Dear Xavier Community,

It is with tremendous sadness that we share the passing of Coach Karl Behring, father of Xavier alumna Sarah Behring ’15 and husband of Xavier alumna Ann Johnston Behring ’77.

Karl was a cherished member of the Xavier community, serving as our head pickleball coach and generously sharing his time, enthusiasm, and encouragement with our students.

Please keep Ann, Sarah, and the entire Behring family in your prayers during this most difficult time. Information regarding services will be shared when it becomes available.

Loving God, we entrust Karl into Your care. May he be welcomed into the joy and peace of eternal life, and may Your comforting presence surround his family and all who mourn his passing. Grant them strength, peace, and the assurance of Your everlasting love.

Our faculty and staff recently had the opportunity to live out Xavier’s mission of service by volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul.

Together, they spent the day organizing donations, preparing meals, and serving members of our community with compassion and care.

We are incredibly grateful for these dedicated educators and staff members. Their willingness to serve beyond the classroom is a powerful reflection of the values we strive to instill in our students every day.

Thank you to St. Vincent de Paul for welcoming us and for the important work you do to support our community!

members were honored to represent Xavier College Prep at the Grand Opening of Acacia Heights III alongside community leaders, donors, and partners working to expand affordable housing opportunities in Phoenix.

Developed through Catholic Charities Arizona and its partners, Acacia Heights III adds 68 new affordable housing units for seniors and families, helping provide safe housing, community connection, and access to transportation in Central Phoenix.

The event brought together many inspiring community leaders, including Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Auxiliary Bishop Peter Dai Bui, Arizona District 5 Representative Sarah Liguori, and many others dedicated to strengthening our community.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event and witness the impact of service, collaboration, and advocacy in action. 💚💙💚

🎭🌟 HUGE NEWS FOR XCP THEATRE! 🌟🎭

Our spring production of Into the Woods had an incredible weekend at the ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards, bringing home THREE major honors!

Each year, schools from across Arizona apply to participate, with only 25 schools selected to be adjudicated by a panel of judges, making this recognition even more special.

🏆 Best Lighting
Congratulations to our lighting team! XCP student Lulu N. ’27 and BCP student Kellan L. ’28 proudly accepted the award on behalf of the crew.

🏆 Best Dance Ensemble
This was a huge surprise and an incredible achievement, especially competing alongside dance heavy productions like Mary Poppins, Newsies, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hadestown! XCP students Ava K. ’26, Nina R. ’26, and Ruby C. ’27 accepted the award on behalf of the cast.

Xavier Prep’s Sister Lynn Winsor retires after 52 years of coaching, mentoring students Beloved Xavier Prep coach and educator Sister Lynn Winsor is retiring at 83 after more than five decades shaping student-athletes in Phoenix.

What a year to be a Gator!

From classrooms to competitions, stages to service projects, our students made this school year one to remember. Their hard work, dedication, talent, and Xavier Spirit were on display every step of the way.

As we look back on another incredible year, we celebrate all that our students, faculty, and staff have accomplished and the memories made along the way.
