Our Graduation Walk brought together our 8th graders, seniors, and kindergarten students for a special celebration of milestones and achievement 🎓✨

It was a meaningful moment as our scholars were recognized and celebrated while passing through the halls and sharing encouragement with our younger students. One of the highlights of the day was seeing kindergarteners hold hands with seniors and enjoy this special time together.

It is always beautiful to see our school community come together to celebrate growth, connection, and new beginnings. 💙

Mission accomplished! ✨

Our juniors and seniors stepped out in action-packed elegance for an unforgettable James Bond–themed dance.

The night was filled with nonstop dancing, photo booth memories, and plenty of food and desserts as we celebrated a major milestone and the close of the school year. Students and staff alike came together for an incredible evening we won’t soon forget.

A huge shoutout to the Junior Class Council for their hard work and dedication all year long. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the time, effort, and planning they put into making it such a success! 🎉

This year, the SEI Department proudly hosted the 5th Annual AZELLA Awards to celebrate the linguistic achievements of our multilingual learners! In partnership with our middle school team and families, the event honored the hard work, growth, and perseverance of students on their journey toward English proficiency.

Each year, multilingual learners take the AZELLA assessment to measure their progress in English language development. Awards were presented for student growth, advancing to the next proficiency level, achieving English proficiency, Journeys Mentor recognition, and Student of the Year honors for each grade level, nominated by teachers.

This year’s results gave us even more reason to celebrate: 30% of our multilingual learners achieved English proficiency !

Our National Honor Society scholars celebrated the end of the year at Main Event in recognition of all their hard work and dedication throughout the school year! 🎉

Students had the opportunity to relax, have fun, and unwind after a successful year of academic achievement and leadership. We are so proud of our National Honor Society scholars and thank them for all of their hard work and commitment this year!

✨ Here are a few moments from our latest Journeys meeting!

The Journeys–Newcomer Mentor Program recently participated in the My America 2026 project in collaboration with our new club partner, Aliento. My America is a nationwide, youth-driven art and civic engagement initiative that honors our past, reflects on our present, and inspires our future.

Led by Journeys club president Lokia, students shared personal stories and explored what America means to them. Each mentor–mentee group designed a 6” x 6” square that will become part of a giant mosaic American flag displayed in Washington, D.C. next year. 🇺🇸🎨

We’re so proud of our students for using their voices, creativity, and experiences to make an impact. Our partnership with Aliento continues to provide newcomer students with a supportive community while opening doors for leadership, scholarships, internships, and personal growth. 💙

During Senior Signing Day, our seniors were celebrated and presented with awards as they officially signed with their college or school of choice. We are proud to have students continuing their journeys at universities, community colleges, and trade schools.

We are incredibly proud of our seniors for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the year, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

We are excited to officially celebrate and announce our partnership with Callahan Cares, an incredible collaboration that will expand support and resources for our Empower families in meaningful ways! 💙

Through this partnership, we are launching *Empower Connect*, a community resource space located right on our campus where families can “shop” for essential items with dignity and ease. Families will have access to food, clothing, hygiene products, and connections to additional community resources — all in one welcoming space.

One of the most impactful parts of this initiative is that Empower Connect will be restocked monthly, helping ensure our families consistently have access to the support they need.

This partnership reflects our commitment to caring for the whole family and building a compassionate, supportive, and empowering community. We are incredibly grateful to Callahan Cares for their generosity and shared mission of serving families with dignity and care.
