When babies stay awake too long, stress hormones kick in making it harder to fall asleep, stay asleep, and settle back to sleep between cycles.

Signs your baby may be overtired:
- Fighting naps
- False starts at bedtime
- Frequent night wakings
- Early morning wake-ups
- Short naps

Sometimes the solution isn’t a later bedtime, it’s actually an earlier one. 💜

C-sections are not the easy way out.‼️

They’re major surgery.

Layers of skin, tissue, muscle, and your uterus are opened to bring your baby safely into the world.

And then, while you’re still numb, sore, and trying to process everything that just happened…

you’re expected to stand up. Walk. Care for a newborn.

Feed them, comfort them, and somehow function on little to no sleep while your body begins healing from surgery.

There are no shortcuts in motherhood.❤️

So if you had a C-section, please know this:

Your birth story is just as valid.
Your strength is undeniable.
And the way your baby entered this world is something to be proud of.

A scar doesn’t make your birth any less real.

If anything, it tells a story of everything you were willing to endure to meet your baby. 🤍

One of my favorite newborn tricks! 🤍

If your little one falls asleep in your arms but wakes the second they touch the bassinet, try warming the bassinet for a few minutes before transfer. The sudden temperature change from your warm body to a cool mattress can be startling for some babies.

✨ Always remove the heating pad before placing baby down.
✨ Use the lowest setting.
✨ Check the surface with the inside of your wrist first.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference!

Have you tried this one before?

A new mom recently told me how lucky she felt to have so much support around her.

And she is.

But I reminded her of something important:

Having support and feeling supported are two different things.

You can have a loving partner.
Family nearby.
Friends checking in.
Meals being dropped off.

And still feel overwhelmed, unseen, or alone.

Postpartum support isn’t just about how many people show up.

It’s about whether a parent feels safe asking for help, feels heard when they speak, and feels cared for in the ways they actually need.

If you’re a new parent, check in with yourself today:

Do you have support?

And do you feel supported? 🤍

✨ Flexible payment options are now available for overnight postpartum/newborn support, birth support, and pediatric sleep services! ✨

I’ve had quite a few families interested in support, but understandably hesitant because of the upfront investment; so I’m excited to now offer multiple flexible payment options to help make care more accessible. 🤍

Families may now:
- Use Klarna payment plans for sleep AND birth/overnight support packages
- Split payments into flexible biweekly installments
- Book discounted 2, 4, 6 or 8 week support packages

This applies to:
Birth support
Overnight newborn/postpartum support
Pediatric sleep consulting + sleep reset packages
Personalized family support tailored to your needs

I understand every family’s financial situation and support needs look different, and I never want finances alone to stop someone from reaching out to see what options may be available.

Longer bookings also allow for more consistency, routine building, and ongoing support while offering reduced package pricing for families needing extended care.

As always, all services are customized following a free consultation so we can find the best fit for your family, schedule, and goals.

Message me directly or inquire through my website to learn more about availability, package options, and payment plans.
