Shake it out!

Next week’s Chill Skill focus is the Shake Shake Water Break! We use this to help our students transition from high-energy activities back to a calm state. We give our water bottles a big shake to let the energy out, then take slow, mindful sips to cool down. It’s the perfect way to reset and get ready for what's next!

Finding Our Chill Skills! 🧠✨🧘‍♂️
If you’ve taken a peek around the classrooms lately, you might have noticed some brand-new additions to our walls!

We recently introduced our Cai & Kate®️ Chill Skills®️ buttons. These are custom button cutouts that feature different Chill Skills to help our kiddos navigate big emotions, pause, and reset when they need a moment.

Every classroom utilizes them a little differently to meet their Minis right where they are!

Giving our students tangible, visual tools to manage their feelings is a huge part of how we build emotional resilience and independence every single day!

Today we celebrate Miss Dana! She has been such a vital, rock-solid part of our C&M family since 2021.

From our littlest infants to her current home in Preschool Green, Dana brings the absolute best energy to her classroom. Her calm presence immediately makes the kids feel safe, and her unmatched flexibility means she’s always ready to jump in and support the team wherever she’s needed.

Finding our "Chill" with the Rainbow! 🌈✨

When things feel a little overwhelming, we use our surroundings to find calm. We start with Red, find something colorful in the room, take a breath, and move through the whole rainbow. It’s a simple grounding tool that our kiddos love to use whenever they need a quick reset.
