👓 Free Eye Exams & Glasses for Kids! 👓

Good vision is essential for learning, and we're excited to share this wonderful opportunity with our families!

Vision To Learn and the Carnegie Library of Homestead are partnering to provide FREE eye exams and glasses for children at no out-of-pocket cost.

📅 Date: Tuesday, June 30
📍 Location: Carnegie Library of Homestead
510 E. 10th Avenue, Munhall, PA 15120

✨ If your child needs glasses, they will:
✅ Receive a free eye exam
✅ Choose their own frames
✅ Have glasses mailed directly to their home in 3-4 weeks
✅ Receive free replacements if glasses are lost or broken within one year

📞 Appointments are required and space is limited!

Thank you to our students, families, staff, PTO, and community partners for making the 2025-2026 school year one filled with learning, growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We are grateful for your partnership and proud of all that our Mustangs accomplished this year.

Families, please keep an eye out for end-of-year report cards, welcome letters, and information about next year's classroom placement and schedule.

Today we celebrated the incredible Pittsburgh Minadeo 5th Grade Class of 2026! 🎓⭐

This year's theme, "Not Throwing Away Your Shot," inspired our students to embrace every opportunity, challenge themselves, and believe in their potential.

As Principal Mason shared, "Success comes from courage, perseverance, and the willingness to seize opportunities when they arise." These students have demonstrated those qualities throughout their elementary school journey, and we couldn't be prouder of all they have accomplished.

As they move on to middle school, we encourage them to continue taking chances, working hard, and making the most of every opportunity that comes their way. The future is bright, and this class is ready to shine!

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We can't wait to see where your next shot takes you. 💙❤️

🎓 Tomorrow is the big day! 🎓

We are excited to celebrate our Pittsburgh Minadeo PreK-5 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, June 11.

🚪 Doors Open: 10:10 AM
🎓 Ceremony Begins Promptly: 10:30 AM

To ensure our students have the opportunity to process in without interruption, guests arriving after 10:30 AM will be asked to wait in the lobby until the processional has concluded.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we ask all guests to:
⭐ Silence cell phones
⭐ Remain seated during the ceremony
⭐ Limit movement during student recognition
⭐ Help us create a respectful environment for every student and family

Families planning to sign students out following the ceremony are encouraged to notify the school in advance to help streamline dismissal.

All visitors must enter through the main entrance and complete the district visitor check-in process.

We can't wait to celebrate the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished! ❤️💙
