While the Board says this referendum was "decidedly even," we say it is our victory!

We call on the EEFC Board to recognize this victory and remove Israeli products from the shelves of our co-op!

Co-ops Against Genocide will continue to inspire and educate the public on the power of boycotts, pushing for the store-wide boycott and the consumer boycott of Israeli-sourced goods.

The Board will be voting on whether or not to enact the boycott during the board meeting on Monday, June 15th at 7pm.

The meeting will be VIRTUAL ONLY, but we still want to "pack the room!" Personal statements are strongly encouraged!

Is there a chance that Hizballah would capitulate to the US and Israel? Israel and Lebanese authorities agreed to extend by 45 days a so-called ceasefire that was supposed to take effect in mid-April, but in practice never has. Israel never stopped attacking Lebanon and occupying parts of its territory, carrying out near-daily massacres including one in the village of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr on Tuesday that killed at least 12 people in a single house, at least three of them children. The death toll from Israeli attacks across the country since 2 March has now passed 3,000, including more than 800 people killed since the start of the so-called ceasefire. More than a million people are still displaced and in recent days another 100,000 were forced to flee their homes. We speak with Roqayah Chamseddine. She is a southern Lebanese researcher and reporter and co-host of the Delete Your Account Podcast. She is a media associate at The Cradle and is currently forcibly displaced from the Dahiyeh, Beirut’s southern suburb. Pittsburgh is honored to welcome Morgan Cooper Totah, founder of Handmade Palestine, a fair-trade project based in Ramallah that works directly with Palestinian artisans to sustain traditional crafts, preserve rich heritage, and provide a means for artisans to support their families under occupation. Some may know Morgan through her social media work documenting daily life and resistance in Palestine, and she has changed her travel plans to be with us in Pittsburgh for this special fundraiser. The NY Times is covering the actual r**es; that is, of the Palestinian prisoners. The Zionists have perfected their torture system with the use of dogs. They are a despicable people. Truly. Several people are objecting to the article's inclusion that Hamas committed r**e on Oct 7th. We agree with these objections. The charge against Hamas has never been proven by anyone, and the NY Times repeated these accusations and false claims without any proof whatsoever. All of this needs to be said. There is ample evidence that Israelis r**e, maim, and murder Palestinians inside and outside of prison, and zero truth when attempting to balance or equate these crimes with those resisting occupation, including Hamas.
