Eden Christian Academy

The second-grade classes from Wexford and Berkeley Hills recently enjoyed a beautiful, sun-filled field trip to Beechwood Farms. This hands-on educational experience perfectly connected with what students have been learning in the classroom regarding habitats, ecosystems, and survival needs. Throughout the day, each child had the opportunity to explore different natural environments and the unique wildlife that make their home there. Highlights included learning about the four key parts of a habitat, catching small critters to study under magnifying glasses, and discovering the importance of animal camouflage against predators. We are so grateful for the wonderful weather and the opportunity for our students to explore the beauty and wonder of God's creation together!

It was an exciting day of transition and community as our 6th-grade students gathered for Step-Up Day to preview the high school experience! The morning kicked off with a warm welcome and high-energy icebreakers led by Mr. Hall’s students, followed by intentional small-group devotionals and prayer sessions led by our juniors. Throughout the event, students rotated through a campus tour with National Honor Society members, a Student Activities Fair in the Fieldhouse, and orientations on high school life in the Media Center. Between sessions, there was plenty of laughter and school spirit as the 6th graders enjoyed taking pictures with their friends and connecting with the high schoolers who will soon be their classmates. It was a wonderful day of looking forward to the bright future that awaits these students as they officially "step up" into the next chapter at Eden!

At Eden, we are so grateful for a community that strives to put love first in everything we do. Whether it's in the classroom, on the athletic fields, or gathering together in chapel, love is the ultimate anchor that holds us together. Wishing all of our Warrior families a blessed and joy-filled week!

Our second graders had the best time "traveling" across the United States for Geography Day! This hands-on learning experience allowed our young explorers to jet-set to Harrisburg (Pennsylvania), Arizona, Florida, Oregon, and South Dakota. Along the way, they discovered the unique landmarks, climates, and characteristics that make our country so diverse and wonderful. We love seeing our students bring their social studies lessons to life with so much joy and curiosity!

Our Wexford Kindergarteners packed their bags and headed to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium for an unforgettable day of wild learning! The students attended a special educational class where they got to meet some amazing animal ambassadors up close, including Magic the macaw, two adorable chinchillas, and Sahara the snake! They even got to use their sense of touch to feel different animal pelts, from zebras and cheetahs to polar bears, skunks, and beavers. To top off an already perfect day, the classes went on an epic zoo-wide scavenger hunt to spot the rest of the animals! It was a beautiful day of discovery, laughter, and exploring God's incredible creatures together.

Our elementary campuses were absolutely buzzing with energy, creativity, and applause during our incredible Student Talent Shows! The stage came alive as students confidently shared their diverse, God-given gifts to encourage our school family. The afternoons were packed with unforgettable performances, including beautiful vocal solos, impressive instrumental pieces, high-energy dance routines, and even some hilarious, clever skits that kept the entire audience smiling. Whether they were strumming a guitar, showcasing a choreographed dance, or acting on stage, each student’s hard work, unique personality, and bravery truly took center stage. We are so incredibly proud of all our performers for sharing their talents and making it such a memorable week of community for Eden Christian Academy!
